Tradition and innovation are sewn into the best pants made in Italy.

Our business philosophy
revolves around the customer.

Le mani dei nostri sarti hanno lavorato

la nostra idea.

Pantaloni fatti (bene) in Italia

Our story

We wanted to combine our vision with the expertise of local entrepreneurs, partendo dalla produzione di pantaloni in cotone, curati nei minimi nei nostri laboratori padovani.

How did Lirecento get its start?

Our business grew out of the idea of bringing the direct-to-consumer business model to Italy – that is, direct sales from the producer to the consumer without the middleman. This business model allows us to sell directly to the end consumer and therefore, at absolutely the most competitive prices.

How do you balance artisan craftsmanship, Made in Italy, and technology?

We like to think that if Lirecento were a person, it would be the child of a tailor. Thanks to technology, we are able to deliver a product, a business model and a message in a way that would not have been possible in the past.

Does technology improve the customer experience?

Technology contributes significantly to improving the customer experience. Both in terms of communication, as well as the after-sales experience, which we feel is extremely important.

What do you think your industry will look like five years from now?

In my opinion, the companies that will be the most prosperous five years from now are those that can reinterpret this new trend and find the right balance of online and offline sales.

How would you describe the current Made in Italy situation?

We are firmly convinced of two things. On one hand, that Made in Italy is a major investment - above all financial - for Italian businesses but, on the other hand, it absolutely does create value compared to outsourced production.

What does Made in Italy mean to Lirecento?

Lirecento is a Made in Italy product that expresses the essence of Italian style, tailoring and quality; and we intend to keep it that way.

Cosa rappresenta per te Lirecento?

Lirecento was a turning point in my work life and the motivation to do better every day.

How important is the customer experience to Lirecento?

From the day Lirecento was established, I decided to be personally responsible for every aspect of direct contact with our customers. I believe this is absolutely one of Lirecento’s strong points.

Cosa ti aspetti dai prossimi 5 anni?

I hope that over the next five years, this barrier, this reluctance toward online buying will disappear.

After a year of online sales, you have opened two boutiques. Tell us more.

Among Italy’s magnificent cities, Rome has always had a special place in my heart. Since we founded Lirecento, I have dreamed of having a store there and last July 31st, my birthday, I was in Rome and that visit marked the beginning of the journey that led us to open our second store.

What sets Lirecento apart?

The thing I appreciate most about Lirecento is that it shows me we are moving in the right direction; everyone tells me: "As soon as they arrive, I put them on; I don’t even have to wash or iron them, and I can go right out." That says to me that the fit we worked so hard to achieve really is perfect.
